President’s Message—Renee Bermel

Season’s Greetings and all the best to everyone in the New Year!

It is with great pride and commitment that I volunteered as the President of our local Advocis Chapter for the past two years.

The benefits of being a volunteer on the Board of Director’s are numerous. You gain respect from your colleagues and peers in the industry, and your clients embrace the fact that you volunteer for a board in your industry and view it as relevant.

The experience and networking with the Board of Directors has enabled me to make lifelong friends and important alliances. The industry related news you receive first hand is essential to being on the leading edge of our professional industry.

You also can help make a difference in our professional industry and to be the voice of our local chapter advisors by volunteering some time to this nationally recognized association.
“Congratulations” to our new board members, you’re going to have an exciting and memorable experience. “Congratulations” to the members who stayed on as Board members and a heartfelt “thank you” to those who participated last year. We will continue the great work that you have initiated.
